The travellers formed a project to recreate the time capsule. There is at least one track from the Touchwood repertoire and another which had melancholy links to  a sleepless night in a barn/rehearsal studio on “that” farm in the gloucester countryside.

..The Story Continues...

The time capsule project was going to use the name “Touchwood” but it seems that there are several bands around using the name now..so we decided against it even though from research, our use of the name pre-dates the oldest band using it by some 20 years or more.....Anyhooooo.....

About the project...................

..In 2007 a travelling family discovered a time capsule buried in an ancient forest.  Against all advice they decided to open the vessel......When the mists had cleared the family were never quite the same again. The soul  of Touchwood was  re-born......

London, NW10, after slowly building a following, Touchwood were about to burst onto the scene. What happened remains a mystery to this day. Sadly no recordings survive of those heady days....
